Briefly about Bodo
Bodø is a city and a municipality in Nordland county. It is located north of the Arctic Circle and is the largest city in Nordland. During the Second World War Bodo was badly damaged and destroyed. It was rebuilt after the war, but in 1941 some hundred apartments were already built to satisfy the basic need for housing. They were built by the Swedish government and the area is nowadays known as the Swedish town.
